In order for a member to be banned and be placed on the banned list they would have to first obtain 3 warnings. After which they will be banned and be placed on the banned list here, also in the banned list you will see if they are banned permanently or temporarily along with the reason why they were banned.
When one receives a warning, a message will be placed on the person's profile stating that they have how many warnings (this message may or may not be visible to normal members). Upon getting 3 warnings you have one final chance where if you are to be warned again you will not be warned but instead be banned and your data will be placed here.
Getting a warning you have a chance to redeem your self. You may redeem yourself, this can be done by going 2 months without getting another warning. On the 3rd (Third) month your warnings will go back down to 0. Otherwise if you have two warnings and you get another warning you will be informed in a private mail that this is your final warning and obtaining another before you got a chance to redeem yourself you will be banned.
If a user has 3 warnings and has managed to redeem him/her self, your warnings are deducted by one. That is if you have 3 warnings and you achieved redemption then the warnings are now down to 2 and not 0.
Being banned by the board, then only after a period of 3 months, if the individual wishes to reactivates his or her account they would do so by contacting a Union member. From there the banned member needs to collect recommendations from 10 members and 1/2 of the Script Union (i.e if the Union has 50 members you need 25 recommendations). Only then will the Moderators and Administration consider reactivating the individual's account. All recommendation will be asked to clarify their recommendations as to ensure that the person did not just type up some names in an email and send it to us.
After a period of six (6) months and the banned members has not expressed any intention of re-activating their account. Their account will be deleted. Even if the account is deleted you need to go through the process stated above to be re-activated.
P.S. Members of staff are not protected from being banned. However they need 6 warnings to be banned. 3 Warnings gets them fired, they then become a normal member. However getting 3 more warnings immediately after being fired then the person is banned. If they wish to reactivate their accounts the same procedure applies to them as a normal member. However if they gain back their accounts they may not be considered to become a member of staff.
Re-activated accounts will start off as a new accounts meaning that their rank and postings will be reset to 0.
Any further questions or queries about banning may be done privately or in the Questioning area in the Script Union category.
